Israel must conquer idolatrous cities and destroy all the spoil, regarding all that had been polluted by idolatry as an accursed thing to be burned with fire.

I grew up ­ like some of you ­ in a very warm and loving Christianfamily. I learned so much from my open-hearted and open-handed parents.  But somewhere along the line, presumablyfrom the Midwestern Christian culture around me, I became askeptic of others.  I see this in so many of my friends when itcomes to OBAMA.

As the spring semester draws to a close in this university town, teachers and students alike are having to make crucial choices about how they will use the tiny bit of time left them as they prepare for exams. I say teachers because I know firsthand from my friend Grace that the end of a semester brings an inevitable flurry (fury?) of grading, exam-writing and paperwork.
